Wow! I’m really impressed by the 3D map of the Theban Mapping Project. Info, image and maps are seamlessly integrated for a virtual tour on tombs that are not open to the public. Even though the 3D tour is only available as a demo on one tomb right now, the atlas is already quite comprehensive. If you are ever remotely interested in ancient Egypt, you should definitely check this out.
I could only visit Cairo last time, after loitering for almost a week on Sinai (not that there’s any regret in that*_^). Hope to have the chance to visit upper Eygpt soon.
